Job Summary
This role is an exciting opportunity to actively shape the digital transformation of the energy sector as an Electrician/Installer specializing in Smart Meter technology. Based in Merzig, Saarland, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of modern metering devices (mMe) and intelligent metering systems (iMsys) across the Saarland region. Key daily tasks include meter exchanges using digital management systems, installing auxiliary devices like ripple control receivers and control boxes, and resolving customer complaints and system malfunctions. The ideal candidate holds a completed vocational training as an Electrician or similar, possesses strong electro-technical knowledge (TAB, TAR), and is proficient in handling metering technology and IT-supported processes. This is a permanent, full-time position offering attractive compensation and contributing directly to the energy transition alongside municipal utility partners.

Experience
- Successfully completed vocational training as an Electrician, Electrical Plant Installer, or similar
- Experience in handling metering technology
- Professional experience with PC affinity and IT-supported processes
