Job Summary

This exciting six-month internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge sustainability research at FiBL, a world leader in organic agriculture. Focused on the "Sustainability Assessment of Diets," you will primarily support the FOODTURE project team by conducting rigorous data research, harmonization, and quantitative analysis concerning the environmental, social, and health impacts of various food baskets and diets. A core component of the role involves defining and executing an independent project assignment, with the goal of producing a publishable contribution for a journal or conference, providing invaluable experience for a research career. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in fields like agricultural/environmental/nutrition sciences, food technology, or computer/data science, coupled with essential experience in quantitative data analysis and modeling. Fluency in English is mandatory, making this an excellent entry point for international graduates passionate about sustainable food systems.
