Job Summary

This role as an IT Network Specialist involves shaping the future of network infrastructures by applying expertise in the planning, implementation, and optimization of modern network solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include the conceptualization and execution of new network architectures, analyzing current systems to develop optimization strategies, and integrating appropriate hardware components. A core focus is on setting up and maintaining routers, switches, and firewalls, ensuring robust network security by implementing current standards, and conducting continuous monitoring to preemptively identify disruptions. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications and possesses several years of experience as a Network Engineer, coupled with strong knowledge of core network technologies (Routing, Switching, LAN, WLAN, WAN) and network management tools. Fluency in German is a prerequisite for this challenging position, which offers professional development and an unlimited contract.
