Job Summary
This leadership role involves heading the Road Construction and Maintenance Department within the Osnabrück District Administration's Road Services division. The Head of Department will manage technical, personnel, organizational, and financial responsibilities, actively leveraging digitalization opportunities. Key tasks include developing annual construction programs for the maintenance and expansion of 639 km of district roads, 380 km of cycle paths, and 170 bridge structures. The role requires overseeing the creation of tender documents, managing procurement processes, and acting as the senior construction manager for various projects. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Transportation or Road Construction and possesses multi-year experience in construction and project management within road infrastructure. Required Skills
Education
University or University of Applied Sciences degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Transportation, Road Construction, or equivalent. Alternatively, eligibility for Career Group 2, First Entry Level, Technical Services track (German public service qualification).
