Job Summary

This role involves acting as a Materials Specialist focused on case hardening processes, playing a crucial part in ensuring product quality through rigorous material science application. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and controlling case hardening processes, defining suitable parameters, selecting furnace technology, and determining quenching methods. The specialist will continuously monitor and document process quality during heat treatment, conduct material testing such as hardness measurements and microstructural assessments, and perform component and failure analyses to maintain high product standards. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Materials Science or equivalent, ideally bringing professional experience in case hardening and heat treatment technology, along with knowledge of relevant testing procedures and furnace technologies.
