Job Summary

This role involves conceptual and technical planning for heating networks and associated energy centers, focusing heavily on developing innovative and climate-neutral supply solutions. The Planning Engineer will be responsible for creating heat supply concepts, executing specialized planning for new and existing heating networks (covering HOAI service phases 1-4), and conducting hydraulic, cost, and schedule calculations. A key focus is the development of transformation plans to integrate renewable heat sources and transition existing networks to climate-neutral operation, often in collaboration with municipal heat planning initiatives. Candidates need a university degree in energy technology or a related field, at least two years of relevant professional experience, and expertise in hydraulic calculations and system component design. Strong communication skills and fluency in both German and English are essential for coordinating with external planning offices and various project stakeholders.

University degree in Renewable Energies, Energy Technology, or Building Services Engineering, preferably in Engineering Sciences

Experience
