Job Summary

This role is for an ambitious Metrology Technician to join the FERCHAU team, focusing on advancing quality assurance through sophisticated measurement technology. Day-to-day responsibilities include the implementation and commissioning of new Zeiss measuring systems, programming and adapting measurement software (specifically CALYPSO) for automated processes, and developing optimized measurement strategies for components and assemblies. The technician will be responsible for analyzing measurement results, generating technical test reports, and collaborating closely with development, production, and quality teams to drive process improvements. Key qualifications include a background in metrology, mechanical engineering, or quality assurance, combined with expertise in 3D coordinate metrology using Zeiss systems.
