Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position seeks a Quality Manager specializing in Microbiology for a pharmaceutical industry client in Idar-Oberstein. The core responsibilities involve ensuring the highest quality standards within microbiological processes and testing. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and evaluating process deviations, initiating corrective actions, and meticulously reviewing and assessing test instructions before implementation. The manager will proactively create and revise key documentation, such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and risk analyses, while planning and coordinating tests to ensure product compliance. A crucial part of the role is driving continuous improvement by processing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) and introducing innovative testing methodologies. Candidates must possess a natural science degree with a focus on Microbiology, coupled with at least two years of relevant professional experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical sector, and a deep understanding of GMP and regulatory requirements for microbiological quality control.
