Job Summary
This role is perfect for an electrical engineering professional passionate about renewable energy, taking technical responsibility for the electrical grid integration of large-scale photovoltaic (PV) and storage projects. Day-to-day tasks involve planning and coordinating grid connections (low, medium, and high voltage), defining technical requirements for substations, and overseeing installation, commissioning, and final acceptance in compliance with grid operator standards. The specialist will also create necessary documentation, including Single-Line Diagrams, and collaborate closely with grid operators and internal project teams. Key requirements include a degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering, at least two years of relevant professional experience, and expertise in planning and commissioning network/transformer stations, ideally within the PV sector. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or comparable qualification (e.g., Certified Technician, Master Craftsman)
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in the required environment (Grid connection/Substations)
- Experience in the planning and commissioning of network/transformer stations, ideally in the PV sector
- Experience in the design of protection concepts (ideally)
