Job Summary

This role involves specializing in the maintenance, optimization, and programming of complex automation systems, primarily focusing on robotic welding and assembly lines within the automotive supply industry. The specialist will be responsible for overseeing automation facilities, predominantly consisting of shell structure systems utilizing KUKA and FANUC welding robots. Key daily tasks include collaborating on new projects, participating in system acceptances and commissioning, and reprogramming or adapting existing facilities to accommodate new products and projects. A crucial part of the job is optimizing manufacturing processes and providing technical guidance and training to plant operators. Candidates must possess a background as a Mechatronics Technician or equivalent, coupled with strong expertise in robotics, process automation, pneumatics, and PLC/bus control systems, ensuring smooth and efficient production operations at the Remscheid site.
