This role involves conceptualizing, installing, and maintaining diverse network systems within the 'Intelligent Mobility Space in the Quarter' (IMIQ) Real-World Laboratory at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg. The technician will be crucial in setting up cutting-edge network infrastructures, including IEEE-802.11ac, IEEE-802.11p, 5G, and LoRaWAN, and integrating various sensors and camera systems into these networks. Key responsibilities include hardware procurement support, defining and implementing interfaces, and contributing to long-term structural development in the Science Harbor research environment. Candidates should have a background in IT, electronics, or telecommunications, experience with relevant network systems, and basic knowledge of hardware-related programming languages. This position offers a challenging, responsible role with significant creative freedom within a major research project focused on the future of sustainable mobility.
