Job Summary
This critical role involves working as a Maintenance Technician within the Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team at a logistics center, ensuring the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of technical systems, including conveying, building, and production equipment. Day-to-day responsibilities include executing planned preventive maintenance, responding immediately to technical faults and breakdowns, diagnosing root causes, and implementing rapid solutions. The technician will also contribute to continuous improvement projects, uphold the highest safety standards, and collaborate with senior colleagues and external service providers. This position requires advanced German language skills, a relevant technical qualification (IHK/HWK certification or an engineering degree), and substantial professional experience in maintaining industrial production facilities, often working rotating shifts to provide 24/7 site support.
Required Skills
Education
Completed technical vocational training (recognized by IHK or HWK) OR a successfully completed university degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering or related field) (BA, B. Sc., MA, M. Sc., Dipl.-Ing.)
Experience
- Minimum two years of professional experience in the relevant trade
- Experience in the maintenance of industrial production facilities
- Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of conveying or automation systems (Preferred)
- Experience with condition-based monitoring (Preferred)

- Must be able to work rotating shifts to provide 24/7 site support. Position is based in a logistics center.
