Job Summary

The City of Neu-Ulm is seeking a dedicated Civil Engineering Technician to join the Roads and Bridges Department. This role involves comprehensive participation in municipal civil engineering projects, focusing heavily on road and sewer construction, maintenance, and new development. Key day-to-day tasks include assisting with planning, tendering, awarding contracts, site supervision, object management, and detailed documentation for technical equipment and traffic systems. A major part of the role involves construction monitoring, quantity surveying, and billing for these measures, while acting as the client representative on site. Candidates must possess a completed qualification as a Civil Engineering Technician or equivalent, knowledge of DIN EN standards and VOB/HOAI regulations, and proficiency in standard office software. Experience with CAD and plan creation is advantageous.
