Job Summary

This role involves the administration and operation of server infrastructures, focusing heavily on virtualization technologies like VMware, Proxmox, and OpenShift, within the tax administration of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing crucial IT security measures, documenting and continuously developing the IT infrastructure with a focus on virtualization and storage, and actively participating in IT projects. Key requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, or relevant vocational training with at least three years of professional experience. Expertise in Linux administration, storage/SAN, and container environments (Kubernetes/OpenShift) is essential.
