Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Power Electronics Engineer specializing in transformer development, working with a globally recognized industrial partner in Verden, Germany. The primary focus involves the conception, design, and simulation of power electronics components, including converters, drivers, and protection circuits for power supplies. Day-to-day tasks include hardware development, circuit design, component selection, and verification using advanced measurement and testing procedures (oscilloscope, power analysis). The engineer will also be responsible for developing new power supply architectures, managing prototyping, and collaborating with software teams on hardware interface integration (e.g., microcontrollers, firmware tooling). A key aspect of the role is continuous process improvement, risk management, and collaboration on research projects with universities to bring prototypes to series readiness. This position offers a direct path to permanent employment after an initial temporary contract.
