Job Summary

This role involves serving as a Civil Engineer specializing in civil and road construction for the city administration of Strausberg, located near Berlin. The primary responsibility is managing and maintaining public traffic areas and drainage systems according to state law, ensuring regulated rainwater and wastewater disposal for roadways, paths, and parking lots. Day-to-day tasks include acting as the client representative (Bauherrenvertretung) for public transport and drainage projects, assisting with the procurement of construction and engineering services, conducting in-house planning and execution of repair measures, and coordinating with concession holders. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Civil Engineering, preferably specialized in civil and road construction, possesses strong organizational skills, and is proficient in MS Office. This is a crucial role ensuring the functionality and safety of public infrastructure within the growing municipality.
