Chemical Technician, Quality Control | Chemikant Qualitätskontrolle (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role is based at a major pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Cologne, specializing in Consumer Healthcare products, and offers a permanent contract with excellent compensation based on the Chemical Collective Agreement. The Chemical Technician will be responsible for executing essential quality control functions, including the planning and execution of incoming goods inspections and in-process controls. Daily tasks involve the sampling of raw materials, rigorous monitoring and assurance of GMP compliance across all production processes, and the creation and maintenance of quality-relevant documentation and control procedures. Furthermore, the role requires analyzing and documenting deviations and handling customer complaints. Candidates must have completed vocational training as a Pharmaceutical or Chemical Technician (or equivalent qualification with professional experience), possess fundamental knowledge of GMP, and be proficient in chemical, physical, and instrumental testing methods, along with LIMS and MS Office skills. The position requires a willingness to work in shifts.
