Join the DFT team in Bielefeld, a subsidiary of the Austrian KNAPP AG, specializing in innovative sorting and sequencing systems for e-commerce and retail logistics, particularly focusing on overhead conveyor technology. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be crucial in developing conceptual electrical designs for conveyor systems, ensuring they are innovative, future-proof, and compliant with safety standards and energy efficiency requirements. Day-to-day tasks involve continuous market analysis of automation components, integrating new technologies through key supplier relationships, and driving process automation to automatically generate electrical schematics and control documentation. You will create E-construction documents and templates using EPLAN, collaborate across engineering disciplines, and provide essential training to internal teams. This role requires a strategic, holistic approach to automation solutions, combining conceptual design with operational tasks to actively shape the future of DFT's technology.
