Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the quality of delivered parts and components by actively managing supplier quality throughout the product lifecycle. Day-to-day tasks include preventative supplier development using Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), managing technical defect resolution, and handling warranty claims. The specialist will conduct and evaluate supplier risk classifications and Quality Management (QM) assessments, utilizing CAQ systems to track defects from the customer back to the supplier. A key part of the job is moderating root cause analyses using established methodologies like 5-Why and Ishikawa, and coordinating immediate and corrective actions with internal departments, customers, and suppliers. The ideal candidate holds a technical degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering) and possesses extensive experience in quality management and supplier development, coupled with fluent German and English skills, making this an excellent opportunity for a quality professional seeking continuous development in a cross-industry environment.
