Job Summary
This permanent, full-time/part-time position in Kerpen requires an Electrical Engineer to manage the planning, construction, and operation of municipal electrical infrastructure, focusing heavily on street lighting systems. Day-to-day tasks include technical and execution planning, conducting photometric calculations, and preparing tender documents according to VOB/VOL standards. The role also encompasses operational management, such as budget planning, ensuring structural integrity checks, and implementing light management systems. Furthermore, the engineer will oversee the construction and modification of special lighting facilities (e.g., sports fields, object lighting) and manage dedicated power circuits and water connections for markets and fairs. Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering and demonstrate strong teamwork, resilience, responsibility, and excellent organizational skills, contributing to a family-friendly atmosphere within the public service sector.
