Job Summary

This role is for an experienced DevOps/Cloud Engineer focused on maintaining and evolving robust, secure, and future-proof Kubernetes and Cloud platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation and development of Kubernetes platforms in the Public Cloud, ensuring high availability and security, particularly focusing on Istio Service Mesh integration. Day-to-day tasks involve planning and executing cluster upgrades, patches, and scaling operations, alongside providing consultative support to internal teams regarding SaaS and hosting environments. A core function of the role is driving automation using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles and optimizing existing processes. Key requirements include a degree in Computer Science or relevant professional experience, deep practical knowledge of Kubernetes (including RBAC, networking, and security) and Istio, and proficiency with major Public Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
