Job Summary
This role is a key opportunity for a motivated Junior Plant Breeder to join an innovative, international company in Quedlinburg, focusing on the development of new ornamental plant varieties. The successful candidate will be central to the dedicated breeding team, responsible for designing and executing core breeding processes, including organizing crosses, overseeing selection, managing propagation, and testing results. The position offers a dynamic mix of hands-on work in the greenhouse/field and office-based tasks (approximately 50/50 split). Collaboration is crucial, requiring close coordination with Product Management, Supply Chain, Elite, and the Laboratory teams. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Horticulture, Agricultural Science, or a comparable field; or equivalent qualification through relevant professional experience in the agricultural sector.
