Job Summary
This permanent position as a Chemical Technician involves critical responsibilities in chemical analysis, wastewater management, and environmental engineering within a small, appreciative team. The core focus is on developing and optimizing surface procedures, particularly in electroplating (Eloxal) and powder coating, and ensuring stringent quality assurance in these areas. Day-to-day tasks include developing analytical methods, planning and executing laboratory and plant trials, managing waste, and creating detailed work and testing instructions. The role requires a completed chemistry education (apprenticeship, technical college, or university level) and demands a highly independent, meticulous, and structured approach to work. Strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and good written and spoken English are essential.
