Job Summary

This role involves acting as a key developer for measurement and control technology, ensuring the precision, functionality, and reliability of test benches by collaborating closely with internal users, system developers, and external suppliers. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, planning, and procuring test bench measurement and control systems, executing complex electrical and non-electrical measurements, and assessing technical solutions in coordination with users. The engineer will also be responsible for calculating measurement uncertainty according to technical standards, leading and instructing staff during implementation and operation, and creating technical documentation using CAD. This position requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Technical Physics, strong theoretical and practical knowledge of electrical and non-electrical measurement techniques, and fluent German and English skills.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Technical Physics, ideally with a focus on electrical measurement technology; Qualification as an Electrical Specialist according to VDE 1000-10 (ideal)

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical measurement technology and measurement of non-electrical quantities
  • Experience in leading and instructing internal and external staff
  • Experience in coordinating interdisciplinary technical fields from planning to commissioning
