Job Summary

This role involves critical maintenance and testing of electronic and mechanical components within the aviation industry, specifically for Lufthansa Technik in Hamburg. Day-to-day responsibilities include testing, repairing, and modifying electronic and mechanical parts, performing functional tests on electronic Cabin Management components, and conducting technical acceptance/release of these parts (40% of the role). The technician will also ensure the technical reliability of existing electronic test equipment and create related technical documentation. Key qualifications include a completed apprenticeship as an Electronics Technician or Mechatronics Technician, multi-year professional experience, and vital release authorization (Freigabeberechtigung) under 21/G or 145 regulations. The ideal candidate must possess strong organizational skills, high resilience, good English and IT skills (SAP, MS Office), and a willingness to acquire additional qualifications.
