Job Summary
This position calls for a dedicated Development Engineer specializing in the design and construction of mechanical and electromechanical components for toilet systems used in rail vehicles. The role involves managing the entire product lifecycle, independently driving projects from initial concept studies through to final serial production and product documentation. Key responsibilities include acting as a crucial technical interface between various internal departments, such as quotations and production, providing technical expertise during the bidding phases, and conducting thorough product testing and trials. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a background in Mechanical Engineering and practical experience in component design to contribute to technological advancement within a large, stable engineering services provider, utilizing expertise in CAD (ideally Creo) and PDM/PLM systems.

Completed University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable qualification
Experience
- Initial practical experience in the design and development of mechanical and electromechanical components
- Professional experience in product development and system design
