Job Summary

This role is ideal for a Civil Engineer, including recent graduates, specializing in underground construction and infrastructure projects. Day-to-day responsibilities involve the planning, design, and dimensioning of civil engineering measures, such as sewage, road, and utility construction. Key tasks include creating site plans, construction schedules, and specifications, conducting quantity surveys and cost calculations, and managing deadlines. The engineer will also be involved in tendering, contract awarding, and construction supervision, requiring coordination with authorities, planning participants, and clients. Essential qualifications include a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on underground construction/infrastructure, familiarity with relevant German construction regulations (VOB, HOAI), and proficiency in specialized software like AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
