Job Summary

This role involves driving ecological change by managing hazardous and non-hazardous waste at a recycling center in Schwabach. The specialist will be responsible for the acceptance, classification, and handling of various waste fractions, including sorting, repackaging, and operating forklifts. Key daily tasks include managing customer interactions with private and commercial suppliers, controlling inventory levels, ordering container pickups, and ensuring meticulous documentation of all incoming and outgoing waste streams in compliance with relevant legal regulations and maintaining the waste register. This position requires commercial or technical training, ideally in environmental technology, waste management, or chemistry, coupled with practical experience and knowledge of waste legislation.
