Job Summary

This role seeks an expert, or future expert, in network administration to manage and optimize critical campus-wide networks (LAN, WAN) and modern WLAN infrastructures for demanding clients, often within the KRITIS (Critical Infrastructure) sector. Day-to-day responsibilities include rigorous analysis and troubleshooting of existing network structures, performing detailed WLAN site surveys (Ausleuchtungen) using state-of-the-art technology, evaluating data, and implementing optimal WLAN availability. Additionally, the administrator manages the implementation of Internet connections utilizing the company's extensive IBH-Internet-Backbone. Candidates should have completed vocational training in IT (e.g., System Integration or Digital Networking) and possess foundational experience with networking concepts such as VPN, Routing & Switching, MPLS, and SD-WAN.
