Job Summary

This role is for an IT Application Administrator supporting medical and commercial information systems at Klinikum Leverkusen Service GmbH. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing administrative application support, monitoring system functionality and compatibility, and performing process analysis and optimization for clinical and business workflows. A key function involves translating complex clinical requirements into actionable IT solutions, supporting the procurement and integration of medical technology devices, and coordinating or leading IT projects for system implementation and development. The ideal candidate possesses a strong IT background, experience with Microsoft Client/Server OS, and ideally familiarity with healthcare applications like KIS, PDMS, and PACS, along with standards like HL7 and DICOM. The position offers a stable, permanent contract in a team-oriented hospital service environment.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training or university degree with a strong IT background, or comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in an IT role, ideally in a hospital environment
  • Experience in supporting healthcare software applications (KIS, PDMS, PACS) (Advantageous)
  • Experience in Project Management (Advantageous)
