Job Summary

This role involves comprehensive production planning and preparation within an industrial environment, focusing on optimizing manufacturing processes and resource allocation. Day-to-day tasks include developing time and quantity structures based on performance packages and contracts, establishing manufacturing structures and standard networks, and creating detailed work plans. The Production Planner will also be responsible for maintaining master data, converting engineering bills of materials (BOMs) into manufacturing BOMs, and participating in crucial coordination meetings with departments like R&D, Purchasing, and Material Management. Key qualifications include a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field, coupled with several years of professional experience in work planning, ideally in a production-oriented setting. Proficiency in MS Office and an ERP system (such as SAP) is essential, along with good command of both German and English.
