Job Summary

The Geoinformatics Specialist will be instrumental in developing and enhancing the Geodata landscape for Germany's federal highway infrastructure operator. This role focuses on building a high-performance Geodata Infrastructure (GDI) and developing specialized GIS applications that enable internal departments to work efficiently and precisely using data-driven methods. Day-to-day tasks involve setting up quality-assured Geodata management, analyzing and visualizing extensive Geodata inventories using various GIS tools (including ESRI and Open-Source solutions), and ensuring the quality and preparation of Geo, SIB, and Metadata. The ideal candidate holds a university degree in Geoinformatics or a related field, possesses strong conceptual skills, and has excellent command of German.
