Job Summary

The Bauhaus Dessau Foundation, a prestigious public law foundation focused on preserving and researching the Bauhaus heritage, is seeking a highly engaged and communicative Head of Finance. This leadership role involves overseeing and developing the entire finance department, managing budget execution, and ensuring compliance with public finance regulations. Key responsibilities include preparing annual budgets, financial and investment plans, generating annual financial statements, and advising the administrative and executive boards on all financial and budgetary matters. The ideal candidate will possess a relevant university degree (e.g., Business Administration, Finance) and extensive professional experience in public finance, procurement, and auditing, ideally including leadership experience. This is a full-time, initially fixed-term position, offering the unique opportunity to work within a UNESCO World Heritage site.
