Job Summary

This role involves working as a Network and Security Specialist in Munich for a reputable, mid-sized IT service company that provides consulting, network, IT security solutions, virtualization, and cloud services. The specialist will be responsible for the technical support and operational management of customer network and IT security environments. Key day-to-day tasks include optimizing and developing existing infrastructures, managing projects (including configuration and commissioning), and designing complex network and security infrastructures such such as LAN, WAN, WLAN, and Firewalls. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical qualification (e.g., IT System Electronics Technician), and possesses professional experience with switching, routing, and network protocols.
