Job Summary
This role involves maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the functional safety of emergency training devices used by flight crews at Frankfurt Airport. The successful candidate, who should have a background as a certified Technician, Electronics Engineer, or IT Specialist, will be crucial in supporting aviation safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include performing preventive maintenance, analyzing and resolving complex technical malfunctions, and executing software changes, updates, and modifications, including adjustments to PLC programs. Strong foundational knowledge in electronics for component repair and experience in software integration are essential. This position offers a professional environment, competitive pay, and an initial 12-month contract with the possibility of extension or permanent takeover by the client, though it requires occasional travel within Europe.
Required Skills
Education
Certified Technician (Electronics, Electrical Engineering, IT, Automation) or Electronics Technician (Industrial Engineering, Devices & Systems, Energy & Building Technology, Information & Telecommunications Technology)
Experience
- Professional experience in Electronics or Automation (Alternative to formal education)
- Experience in software integration and adaptation (including PLC)
- Experience with flight simulation or training devices (Advantageous)
Languages

- LuftSicherheitsschulung (Aviation Security Training) required (can be completed before project start); Occasional travel within Europe (mostly max. 1 week); Employment via temporary work agency (ANÜ); Location: Frankfurt am Main Airport; Contract duration: 12 months (with extension/takeover option); Full-time (37.5 hours/week).
