Job Summary

This role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Microsoft System Engineer to join a successful full-service IT provider specializing in services for SMEs in Munich and Upper Bavaria. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing and resolving hardware and software issues within 1st and 2nd level support, providing direct and remote user support, and administering Windows, Citrix, and Terminal Servers. A key focus will be managing user accounts and permissions in systems like Active Directory and MS Exchange, implementing new IT software, and continuously developing the customer's system and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Computer Science or a comparable technical qualification, along with very strong practical knowledge of current Windows, Linux, and/or Apple server systems, and experience with Cloud solutions, backups, and security. This position offers a permanent contract, the possibility of a 4-day, 34.5-hour work week, flexible working hours, and home office options.
