Job Summary

This is a pivotal leadership role for an experienced IT professional to serve as the Head of the IT Department and Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Deutsche Rentenversicherung (DRV) Berlin-Brandenburg. The successful candidate will lead a critical IT department, overseeing the provision of essential IT services from data centers to specialized applications for over 2,000 users. This position involves significant strategic responsibility, including defining and optimizing the IT strategy, managing the IT budget and personnel, and ensuring the efficiency and quality of IT services. The role also requires active participation in Germany's largest development project, rvEvolution, aimed at modernizing the core pension insurance system. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Diploma/Master) in Computer Science, Administrative Informatics, Business Informatics, or comparable IT-related fields. Alternatively, a university degree in another field or fulfillment of civil service career requirements for higher non-technical/technical service.
