Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Civil or Environmental Engineer to actively contribute to environmental protection within the Water Management Office. Day-to-day responsibilities include the technical processing of water law procedures and statements concerning flood protection, hydraulic engineering, water body development, and hydropower. A key focus is coordinating and technically reviewing measures for implementing the EU Water Framework Directive for surface waters, as well as managing funding applications for flood protection projects and ecological water measures. The engineer will also advise local municipalities on hydraulic engineering issues, particularly regarding flood protection and heavy rainfall considerations. Candidates should possess a degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, strong social competence, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Experience
