Job Summary

This role involves critical IT infrastructure modernization for Sachsenforst, a major forestry employer in Saxony. The specialist will be responsible for designing and implementing a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) in collaboration with external data centers, and coordinating the implementation of integrated WLAN at main locations. A key task includes conceptualizing and coordinating the decommissioning of decentralized server technology across forestry districts to centralize IT services. Furthermore, the role requires piloting the secure and compliant utilization of Public Cloud services. Candidates need a relevant university degree (Bachelor/FH Diploma) in IT or a comparable field, coupled with practical experience in network technologies, Windows Server administration, scripting, and IT security/data protection regulations.
