Job Summary

This role involves working as a Project Engineer specializing in High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) Control Systems for a major energy client in Erlangen. Day-to-day tasks include creating and maintaining technical specifications, HMI concepts, and manuals, as well as defining functions and visual requirements for operating displays. A core responsibility is the project engineering of HMI software, specifically using Copa Data Zenon, and ensuring the integration and validation of HMI components in test setups. The role requires strong technical communication skills for coordinating with internal interfaces, external customers, and suppliers, and includes supporting acceptance tests and commissioning activities. Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering, possess fundamental experience in HMI system project planning (ideally with Zenon), and have practical knowledge of control system protocols such as IEC 61850, IEC 101, and IEC 104.
