Job Summary

This permanent Field Service Technician role, based in Erkelenz, offers an opportunity to take on challenging, international projects within the engineering sector. You will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of machinery and systems, including performing mechanical and electrical assembly, followed by worldwide commissioning and customer acceptance testing. A core part of the job involves ensuring the longevity of existing facilities through inspection, maintenance, repair, and modernization, as well as providing essential training to operating and maintenance personnel globally. The ideal candidate holds a qualification as a Mechatronics Technician, Electrician, or Industrial Mechanic, ideally complemented by further technical certification, and must possess strong expertise in automation technology, particularly SIMATIC software.
