Job Summary

This role seeks an engaged IT Administrator to take responsibility for the operational IT environment and the continuous development of a modern IT infrastructure in Herzogenrath. The administrator will independently manage server and computer operations, ensuring maximum system availability through regular updates, and optimize the IT infrastructure by implementing new technologies. Key responsibilities include administering and expanding SAN concepts (NetApp) and virtualization environments (VMware, OLVM), developing robust data security concepts, and executing backup/recovery scenarios. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science or a Technician qualification with relevant IT experience, possesses deep knowledge in network and server administration (Windows, Linux, Next Generation Firewalls), and is fluent in both German and English to collaborate effectively with internal and international partners.
