Job Summary

This Senior DevOps Engineer role involves technical leadership and coordination of the cross-functional DevOps team within the ICT Software Development department. The primary focus is on digitalizing critical funding processes by developing software products that meet stringent quality, data protection, and IT security requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include taking full responsibility for the conception, implementation, and operation of critical systems, infrastructure planning, and application allocation within the DLR infrastructure. A key component of the role is driving technical innovation, optimizing CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with development teams, and ensuring platform security. The ideal candidate brings a university degree in Computer Science, several years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in container environments (Docker), deep knowledge of automation, container orchestration, and proficiency in various programming languages (PHP, Java) and relational databases. This 2-year fixed-term position offers the opportunity to act as an innovation driver in the digitalization of public sector business processes.
