Job Summary
Plasmidsaurus is seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician to join their team, accelerating biotech research through efficient next-generation sequencing services. This role is pivotal in the daily operations of a high-throughput lab, focusing on the accurate execution of RNA library preparation and sequencing. Day-to-day responsibilities include hands-on sample processing, quality control of starting materials, operating and maintaining Illumina sequencing instruments, and conducting basic data analysis in collaboration with bioinformaticians. The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of two years of hands-on experience in an NGS lab, deep technical expertise in Illumina platforms, and exceptional organizational skills. This position requires a proactive problem-solver who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle rotating shift work, contributing directly to breakthroughs for thousands of global scientists.
