This role offers an exciting opportunity at a renowned, exclusive sports vehicle manufacturer in Affalterbach, focusing on powertrain development. The Geometrical Metrology Technician will be responsible for preparing and executing complex metrological test series using 3D measuring systems and other geometrical measurement equipment on engines, drivetrain, and vehicle components. Key tasks include programming, simulating, and operating 3D measuring systems, evaluating measurement results, troubleshooting errors using diagnostic systems, and managing measurement data within defined IT systems. Candidates must possess an engineering degree or equivalent qualification in Geometrical Metrology or Automotive Engineering, coupled with extensive conceptual and operational experience (over 3 years) in 3D metrology. Expertise in programming and handling 3D measuring machines (e.g., Zeiss/Leitz) and a strong analytical, quality-oriented work ethic are mandatory for success in this demanding technical environment.
