Job Summary

This role involves performing inorganic analysis in the environmental sector using various measurement systems, specifically Photometric methods and BOD (Biochemical Oxygen Demand). The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for the evaluation, assessment, and documentation of test results, ensuring the highest quality standards are met and systematically preventing future errors. Key responsibilities also include the independent maintenance, care, and calibration of laboratory equipment, as well as managing consumable supplies and updating testing instructions. The ideal candidate holds a qualification as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA) and ideally brings professional experience in instrumental analysis and working with a LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System). This is a full-time, permanent position based in Freiberg, offering a diverse and autonomous role within a dynamic, international environmental analysis leader.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician, Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA), or equivalent qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in instrumental analysis (preferred)
  • Professional experience with laboratory procedures using a LIMS system (preferred)
