Job Summary
This role is ideal for a dedicated Electrical Engineering Technician, preferably with a background in lighting or sound technology, who thrives in a creative theater environment. The professional will be responsible for the technical support and stage management (Inspizienz) of events at the Schauspielhaus Salzburg, ensuring seamless execution of lighting and sound during performances. Key daily tasks include setting up new productions in collaboration with directors and set designers, documenting technical setups, and performing maintenance and repair on existing light and sound systems. Candidates should possess strong teamwork skills, reliability, a sense of responsibility, and flexibility, including willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. A background as an electrician or an HTL (Higher Technical Institute) graduate is also highly valued, along with a driving license (Class B) and comfort working at heights.

Higher Technical Institute (HTL) graduate or equivalent technical qualification in Electrical Engineering/Electronics (preferred)
Experience
- Professional experience in light and/or sound technology (preferred)
