Job Summary

This role involves taking ownership of the IT procurement process for a housing industry client, focusing on identifying savings potential and continuously optimizing procurement workflows. The Strategic IT Vendor Manager will be responsible for managing IT accounting, controlling the invoice workflow within SAP, and establishing a strategic contract management system to oversee IT service providers and suppliers, ensuring compliance and quality standards are met. Key responsibilities also include managing the Hardware Lifecycle Management processes, leading the preparation of tender documents (including performance specifications and EVB-IT contracts), and acting as a sub-project lead for various IT initiatives from planning through successful implementation. The ideal candidate must possess a background in business informatics or a relevant commercial/IT qualification, coupled with solid experience in IT procurement and project management methodologies.
