Job Summary

The Deutsche Bahn is seeking an Infrastructure Manager in Düsseldorf to oversee the planning and management of railway infrastructure projects, focusing specifically on passenger stations. This role involves creating project mandates in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with current infrastructural principles (such as platform heights and lengths), and integrating construction standards into project orders. The manager acts as the primary contact for infrastructure principles with third parties (e.g., state governments and transport companies) and is responsible for change management and quality gate reviews for ongoing projects. Ideal candidates must hold a degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related fields, possess experience in railway system planning, and demonstrate strong negotiation, assertiveness, and teamwork skills to manage complex, long-term infrastructure assets for future generations.

Completed university degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Business Engineering with a focus on Construction, or a comparable technical discipline

Experience

  • Experience in planning railway traffic systems (ideally)
  • Professional experience in project management or planning within infrastructure
  • Professional experience dealing with third parties (governments, transport companies)
