Job Summary

As an Interoperability Consultant, you will actively contribute to the modernization and digitalization of German public administration, focusing on making government services more efficient and user-friendly. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting public sector clients to identify their needs and implementing them in digitalization projects, with a strong focus on areas like Once Only, Register Modernization, Architecture Consulting, and Data Exchange. A key part of the role involves data modeling, developing technical standards for interoperable data exchange, and managing communication by organizing and moderating workshops and events with clients. The ideal candidate possesses a strong interest in public sector digitalization, initial experience in data structuring and modeling, and the ability to clearly communicate complex technical issues to non-experts. This role offers the chance to build deep technical expertise and work flexibly from anywhere in Germany, contributing to projects with significant societal relevance.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in an IT or administration-related field, or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Initial experience in data structuring and modeling
  • Professional experience in structuring, analyzing, and communicating complex issues
  • Experience presenting ideas and results to larger groups
